A red "Cocky" belt buckle with a raised silver-coloured cockerel, designed to fit a 38mm (1½in) interchangeable buckle belt. The glossy red panel and polished border make it a loud, cheerful nod to the TV series Bones, and when you want a different look you change the buckle, not the belt.

Why this Cocky belt buckle

Some buckles are subtle. This one has its name across the front. "Cocky" is spelled out in raised, polished lettering over a glossy red panel, with a small cockerel underneath so nobody misses the joke.

If you know Bones, you will know where it comes from. If you do not, it still works as a straight novelty buckle, bold enough for a night out, a festival or a themed party. Red is doing the work here, so keep the rest of the outfit simple: dark jeans and a white shirt or a plain tee.

Most standard designs fit a 38mm (1.5-inch) snap-on belt. Your belt must have a removable buckle with press studs or similar fastenings. Check the compatibility stated on the individual buckle page because some narrower, reversible or specialist designs differ.
Does a belt buckle include the leather belt?

No, buckles are normally sold on their own unless the product is clearly described as a set. A compatible belt can be added separately.
How do I change an interchangeable belt buckle?

Open the press studs at the buckle end of the belt, remove the current buckle, slide the new buckle into position and fasten the press studs again.
